Compliance in the New Zealand ETS is based on a self assessment regime for all participants. There are expensive penalties if registration, filing and surrender dates are not met and significant civil and criminal penalties for non-compliance due to such things as inaccurate or incomplete data. Participants must ensure they stay up to date with changing regulations including calculation methodology, regional emission factors, reporting formats and reporting timelines.

FoundationFootprint™ New Zealand ETS Compliance Modules are designed to meet the unique reporting needs of the different sector regulations for Stationary Energy, Industrial Processes, Liquid Fossil Fuels and forestry.

Data can be automatically fed into FoundationFootprint™ from your ERP systems and suppliers IT systems or manually entered either in secure webpages or Microsoft Excel templates that can be emailed back to the system.

FoundationFootprint™ will provide notifications and reminders via email or TXT message to ensure that your data is submitted on time and to alert you of any regulatory changes effecting you.

When regulations change so do the compliance modules - at no extra charge to you. The compliance modules are offered on a subscription based pricing model. This means that you pay a monthly fee to use the web based modules whilst we keep the software up to date and continue to improve it. Your automatically receive all the updates and are always using the latest version. This model is often referred to as "Software as a Service".

Compliance Modules are add-on components to the core FoundationFootprint™ product, a secure, web based carbon and resource management system.
